Submission Preparation Checklist

As part of the submission process, authors are required to check off their submission's compliance with all of the following items, and submissions may be returned to authors that do not adhere to these guidelines.
  • 1. Access the Submission Portal, Visit the IJBSD journal website and click on “Make a Submission”.
  • 2. Review the Submission Checklist: Ensure all submission requirements are fulfilled before proceeding.
  • 3. Log In or Register: New users must register and select “Yes, request the reviewer role”. Existing users may log in directly.
  • 4. Begin a New Submission: Click “Make a New Submission” from the dashboard.
  • 5. Submission Tabs: Complete the process through five tabs, Start, Upload Submission, Enter Metadata, Confirmation, and Next Steps.
  • 6. Start Tab: Select the journal section, confirm requirements, accept copyright, and save to continue.

  • 8. Enter Metadata: Provide article title, abstract, keywords, and complete contributor details. Mark the corresponding author clearly.
  • 9. Confirm Submission: Click “Finish Submission” to complete the process.
  • 10. Track Submission: Authors can track progress via their OJS dashboard.

Research Article

Research Articles Policy

  • Originality: Manuscripts must be original, unpublished, and not under review elsewhere.
  • Scope: Business, Management, Economics, Social Sciences, Computing, Policy, and interdisciplinary research relevant to business and society.
  • Ethics: Compliance with HEC, COPE, and DOAJ ethics is mandatory. Ethical approval required for human-subject research. No data fabrication or falsification.
  • Plagiarism: All submissions are screened. Similarity must be within HEC-approved limits. Plagiarized work is rejected.
  • Length & Language: 5,000–8,000 words; Abstract 150–300 words; 3–6 keywords; academic English required.
  • Structure: Title, Authors & Affiliations, Abstract, Keywords, Introduction, Literature Review, Methodology, Results, Discussion, Conclusion, References (APA).
  • Formatting: Manuscripts must follow the IJBSD author template (Times New Roman, 12-pt, 1.5 spacing).
  • Authorship: Only substantial contributors qualify as authors. Corresponding author ensures accuracy and ethical compliance.
  • Peer Review: Double-blind peer review by at least two reviewers. Editorial decision is final.
  • Revisions: Timely revisions with point-by-point response to reviewers are required.
  • Open Access: Immediate open access. Authors retain copyright. Licensing is clearly stated.
  • Charges: No Article Processing Charges currently
  • Compliance: Submission implies acceptance of HEC criteria, DOAJ transparency principles, and IJBSD policies.

Book Chapter Review

Book Chapter Policy

  1. Chapter is original, unpublished, and not under review elsewhere
  2. Chapter is not a duplicate or lightly revised journal article
  3. Content fits the theme and scope of the edited book
  4. Research follows HEC ethical guidelines
  5. Ethical approval obtained (if human subjects involved)
  6. No data fabrication, falsification, or misconduct
  7. Plagiarism check completed
  8. Similarity index within HEC-approved limits
  9. All sources properly cited
  10. Word count within required limit (4,000–7,000 words)
  11. Abstract included (100–200 words)
  12. 3–5 keywords provided
  13. Written in academic English
  14. Chapter includes all required sections:
    1. Title
    2. Author(s) name(s) and affiliation(s)
    3. Abstract and keywords
    4. Introduction
    5. Literature review / conceptual framework
    6. Methodology (if applicable)
    7. Analysis / discussion
    8. Conclusion & implications
    9. References (APA style)
  15. Publisher / edited book template followed
  16. Font, spacing, tables, and figures formatted correctly
  17. All authors made substantial intellectual contributions

Privacy Statement

The International Journal of Business and Social Dynamics (IJBSD) is committed to protecting the privacy, confidentiality, and security of personal information provided by authors, reviewers, editors, and users of the journal website. This Privacy criteria explains how personal data are collected, used, stored, and protected in accordance with international publishing ethics, data protection principles, and best practices.

  1. 1. Collection of Personal Information

IJBSD may collect personal information from authors, reviewers, editors, and users during the manuscript submission, peer review, and publication processes. This information may include, but is not limited to:

  • Full name
  • Institutional affiliation
  • Email address and contact details
  • ORCID iD (where provided)
  • Manuscript-related information
  • Reviewer expertise and evaluation records

Only information necessary for editorial, review, and publication purposes is collected.

Personal information collected by IJBSD is used exclusively for:

  • Managing manuscript submissions and peer review
  • Editorial correspondence and decision-making
  • Publication, indexing, and archiving of accepted articles
  • Reviewer selection, communication, and acknowledgment

Personal data will not be used for commercial purposes or unrelated activities.

IJBSD ensures that all personal data are handled with strict confidentiality. Appropriate administrative and technical measures are implemented to protect information against:

  • Unauthorized access

  • Alteration or disclosure

Access to personal data is restricted to authorized editorial staff and is used solely for legitimate journal operations.

  1. Peer Review Confidentiality

All manuscripts submitted to IJBSD are treated as confidential documents. Reviewer identities and reports are protected under the double-blind peer review system, and neither authors nor reviewers are permitted to disclose or discuss manuscript content outside the review process.

  1. Data Sharing and Third Parties

IJBSD does not sell, trade, or rent personal information to third parties. Personal data may be shared only when:

  • Required for journal hosting, indexing, or archiving services
  • Legally required by regulatory or institutional authorities
  • Necessary to investigate ethical misconduct, in line with COPE guidelines

In all such cases, data sharing is limited to the minimum necessary information.

Personal data are retained only for as long as necessary to fulfill editorial, legal, and archival obligations. Reviewer records may be retained to ensure transparency, recognition, and quality control of the peer review process.

Authors, reviewers, and users have the right to:

  • Request correction of inaccurate or outdated data
  • Withdraw consent for data use where applicable
